Bright Cultivation

The installation is Bright Cultivation — The act of bending and forming organic shapes out of reeds connects with our ancestors. Plants and natural elements were collected by cultures for food and to create natural dyes that adorn traditional ceremonial clothing. The act of foraging reminds us how to stay connected to nature for survival.
